in case of anyone getting a bit skeptical of pre-molded frame like the flimsy RG line had: the biggest reason that the premolded frame in most RG were fragile is the ratio of plastic material tensibility vs its mass. the 1/144 scale means that the said premolded frame is thinner than what it has to hold its whole mass, so ofc the frame would wear and tear easily. but in this case, the premolded frame for the upcoming PG is WAY thicker and the ratio for maintaining the plastic tensibility is also stronger by multiple times than the RG had . hoped this reason would not dissuade you from preventing you to try this kit, 'cos i already POed mine in local store lol
Still skeptical but I'll just wait for the reviews, it's not that I don't trust that more plastic will make it sturdier, I'm worried that being usually done in softer plastic it won't be as durable, kind of like polycaps in early pg's. Plus, while I can see it's mostly hidden between two layers of inner frame parts it's going to be hellish to paint and besides, I love assembling pg joints.
